Is the drain in the anchor locker supposed to have a sleeve of any sort
when I flushed out the locker , water and debris ended up in the fwd bilge? |

I had the same issue several years ago. There is a gap in the drain between the hull and locker. I put a small piece of hose into the drain and sealed the inside with caulk. This seems to have solved the problem.
I'll be up in RI in about a month. Where do you keep your Cape Dory?

Hi Jim:
Hope it fixes the problem... I'll be in RI on the 15th for about a week. I grew up in East Greenwich.
Thanks, Mark |
